Tanabata Festival
●Row of Cherry Trees along the Tamagawa River
The Fussa Cherry Blossom Festival is held from March to April.
●Fussa Star Festival
Held for four days in August. The Star Festival attracts throngs of people who come to enjoy the various activities and booths.

The city’s infrastructure, such as water and sewerage facilities, is well developed. Fussa also has sophisticated cultural and educational facilities, and 74 parks that are used for recreational activities.
Scenery
Tamagawa Jousui
The “10 Scenes of Fussa” consists of 10 evocative natural landscapes and buildings in the city. The Tamagawa Josui near Shinboribashi bridge has been selected as one of the “New 100 Scenes of Tokyo.” There are 30 sculptures located throughout the city.
Transportation
There are five stations on three JR lines that pass through Fussa: the Ome Line, Hachiko Line and Itsukaichi Line. It takes 17 minutes to travel from Fussa Station to Tachikawa Station on the JR Ome Line, and just under an hour from Fussa Station to Tokyo Station on a direct special express train.
